This Human-Centered Design (HCD) Bootcamp series was specifically developed to build design capacity within pharmaceutical and medtech teams, including those in clinical trial development, patient experience, and engineering. The bootcamps offer both bespoke short- and long-term learning experiences, providing participants with practical, hands-on exposure to HCD methodologies in a collaborative, group-coaching environment.

Through real-world examples, participants learn to apply HCD tools and approaches to reframe existing projects, adapting techniques to address the unique challenges of the pharmaceutical and medtech industries. The outcome of the bootcamp is the development of actionable knowledge and a suite of reproducible resources tailored to each client’s needs.

Notable clients included Roche, Gilead Sciences, Mayo Clinic, and Boston Scientific. The bootcamp empowers teams to approach healthcare design with a patient-centered mindset, focusing on the entire patient journey—from diagnosis to treatment adherence—ensuring that medications and experiences are designed with the patient in mind.
